This is so true... but it fails to say that sometimes to attain that wish or dream, the path can be hard and rocky and sometimes unfair. Sometimes the stones in the path may slow you down. The virtue of patience may have to be learned but don't ever give up! Go after it. Fight your way past the stones. When you find it unfair, remember that you are not alone, others have run into the same unfairness, then persevered and overcame it.
Your life is ahead of you and with many decisions and Choices to make, all of which will decide what path your life will take, what will happen and how lives around you will be affected.
Just because you are young or starting over doesn't mean that you can't think, plan and aim your life in the best direction. If you can see it in your mind, you can use that mind to make the decisions to make it happen. If you need help don't be too proud to reach out for it from someone that is wiser and able.

Many things may try to bring you down.
If youre poor, sometimes the keys are hard to find,
seek them, look around.
If youre rich, sometimes you aren't aware,
the keys are even there.
Look around at the ones that don't have, and compare.

For every Choice there is a Price.

Rich or poor your family and friends
may not encourage, understand, or be fair,
they may even abuse.
There are others out there that want what's best for you,
and they are there for you to use.
No one has to endure abuse. Not in America,
Not now, Not ever !
No one has to lose.

Even if your life right now is good,
be careful of what some call fun.
Think things through,
your Choices will make things happen,
and lives will be effected.

If or rather when you find a guy,
and he ever pushes or shoves or hits,
or tells you that you can't,
take my word on it,
it will only get worse with time.
They won't quit.
If you were to pledge your love,
marry and have kids,
given time,
it may be their turn to feel the push and shove.
If you stayed it wouldn't change
and lives would be effected.
Then if the time came that you did leave,
well, then too lives would be affected.
So when you meet those guys,
only accept the kind, gentle, strong and fair.

Find the true people,
not the ones who decide if youre a friend
by the clothes on your back or the money in your pocket.
It's plain and simple!
