Death Decisions

Death is a completion

Of life in your physical body

Though it seems like an exit

It's actually an entrance into the lobby

A waiting room as it were

Before you stand before God

To examine the path of your steps

Whether they were narrow or broad

Concerning which way your feet

On earth did trod

Did you travel

On the street called Straight

The highway of holiness

Or on the road of sin and selfishness?

Your destination

Is always governed by choice

Though Christ won the victory

For us at Calvary

When He Died naked openly

Unashamedly and boldly

With blood all over His body

Spit on His face

So you could be cleansed

Forgiven from your sinful disgrace

Though you have a choice

You must lift up your voice

The victory has been won

Death, Hell and the grave

They are defeated

As for Jesus

At the right hand of t he Father

In heaven He is seated

Now in heavenly places

Having Died for the sins

Of all peoples and races

Now before it's too late

Decide your fate!

Above all other Gods

Christ reigns and is great

Eternal life is available to all

Choose Jesus or fall

Into the depths of Hell

Where the fire burns hot

And decay does smell

And flesh does rot

Choose Jesus and heaven

For He is the Resurrection

Without Him there is no alleviation

Of Hell, death, and the grave for you

Consider carefully
